Mission Trip and My Adventures at Puerto Prinsesa, Palawan PH 2016

Brooks Point Puerto Prinsesa, Palawan Philippines - I was very lucky to be part of this adventure mission trip that was held at Puerto Prinsesa Palawan. It was a two-week mission trip with a focus on prayer and discipleship. Our goal was to help build the Mission Center at Brooks Point together with the Great Illinois Rivers Conference. The Volunteers in Mission (VIM) came from different churches, The Industry United Methodist Church and The Columbus United Methodist Church were united by God's calling with some of the volunteers of the United Methodist Church.

Puerto Prinsesa is located at the western provincial island of Palawan. A lot of wanderlust have been visiting this place for its beach resorts and seafood restaurants. It is also known as the cleanest and greenest city of the Philippines. Upon arrival at Puerto Prinsesa airport, we directly stayed at one of the hotels in Palawan, Fleuris Hotel. It is located at the heart of Puerto Prinsesa. We stayed at the hotel just for a night before we travel going to Brooks Point.

We woke up early for our trip going to Brooks Point. It is a one hour drive from the city of Puerto Prinsesa. While travelling we saw the beauty around Palawan. The mountains, especially the Palm trees are really protected and we were amused how amazing God's creation is.
One of a kind Coconut trees because they are slender, producing small Coconuts.

We arrived safely at our destination and stayed at Maruyog's Ridge Brooks Point, Palawan. They offer the best food and service. The ambiance is perfect for family, friends and conventions because of its friendly and quiet atmosphere. Truly God is good as we became instruments of his goodness.

To GOD be the GLORY!
